1. Overview
STC Reels – Shoppable Video (“the App”) is a Shopify app that allows merchants to display
shoppable video reels, carousels, stories, and bubbles on their online stores.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
The App collects limited merchant information and anonymous storefront analytics
to provide shoppable video functionality and performance insights.
We do not collect personal customer information or payment details.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Merchant Data (Store Owners)
- Shop domain (e.g., yourstore.myshopify.com)
- Shopify access token — to interact with your store’s API
- App settings and widget configurations
- Uploaded videos and media — stored on Shopify CDN
2.2 Storefront Visitor Data
- Anonymous session ID
- Video engagement events (views, likes, add-to-cart clicks)
- Purchase events (order ID, value, product IDs)
- Device type (mobile or desktop)
- Country / City derived from IP (IP not stored)
- Page type (homepage, product, collection)
We do NOT collect:
- Customer names or emails
- Passwords
- Credit card or payment information
- Precise location or GPS data
2.3 Instagram Data
If you use the Instagram import feature, we process publicly available Instagram
post URLs you provide. We do not store Instagram login credentials.

6. GDPR Compliance

- customers/redact — delete customer related analytics
- shop/redact — delete all store data within 48 hours of uninstall
