How to import your Instagram reels into Shopify (in 2 minutes)

You’ve already made the content. Your Instagram reels are shot, edited and performing — they just aren’t doing anything on your store. ShowToCart lets you bring them into Shopify without downloading and re-uploading a thing, then makes them shoppable.

Import by handle — no downloads

In the app, go to Library → Import and choose Instagram. Enter your handle (or paste a specific reel link), and ShowToCart pulls the reels in for you to pick from. Select the ones you want and they’re added to your Library.

Keep it fresh with auto-sync

Posting regularly? Turn on auto-sync for Instagram and new reels import automatically every 15 minutes. (TikTok import is available too, as a manual import.)

Make them shoppable

Open an imported reel in the Library and tag products — the card and reel popup then show live price, title and variants pulled straight from Shopify.

Put them somewhere that sells

Drop your imported reels into a homepage carousel, a stories bar, or the product page. Our guide on where to place shoppable video covers the seven spots that convert best.

Your best marketing might already be sitting in your Instagram grid. This just puts it to work on the page where people actually buy.

Recap

  • Library → Import → Instagram → enter your handle.
  • Pick the reels; they land in your Library.
  • Enable auto-sync so new posts import every 15 minutes.
  • Tag products, then feature them in a widget.
